LIC AAO Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Conditions Age Limit
Minimum Age shall be 21 years (completed) as on 01.01.2023.
Maximum age shall not be more than 30 years
(candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1993 and not later than 01.01.2002 both days inclusive only are eligible )

LIC AAO Recruitment 2023 Educational Qualifications
For AAO(Generalist):
“Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution”
Candidates should ensure that the educational qualification possessed by them shall be as per the prescribed educational qualifications mentioned in the advertisement and they fulfil the above eligibility criteria.
No equivalent educational qualification shall be considered as eligible by LIC of India.
The educational qualification mentioned should be from a University/Institute/ Board recognized by Govt. of India / approved by the Government Regulatory bodies and the result should have been declared on or before 01.01.2023.
Proper documents from Board / University for having declared the result on or before 01.01.2023 have to be submitted at the time of interview. The date of passing the examination which is reckoned for eligibility will be the date of passing appearing on the mark sheet/ Provisional Certificate
LIC AAO 2023 Salary – Pay Details
Emoluments and Benefits:
LIC Assistant Administrative Officer Basic pay of Rs. 53600/- per month in the scale of Rs. 53600- 2645(14) –90630– 2865(4) –102090 and other admissible allowances as per rules.
Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale inclusive of House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance etc wherever admissible depending upon the classification of the city will be approximately Rs. 92870/- per month in ‘A’ Class city.
Other benefits are Defined Contributory Pension, Gratuity, LTC, Cash Medical Benefit, Group Mediclaim, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Group Insurance , Vehicle Loan (2-wheeler/4 wheeler) as per rules, meal coupon, reimbursement of cost of Brief case/leather bags, mobile handset, supply of dailies and magazines and tea/coffee, mobile expenses, etc.as per rules.

LIC AAO Recruitment 2023 Selection Procedure for 300 A.A.O Posts
Selection of Assistant Administrative Officers will be done through a three tiered process and subsequent Pre- recruitment Medical examination.
The selection Process involves three steps:
- LIC AAO Preliminary Examination
- LIC AAO Main Exam
- LIC AAO Interview
LIC AAO Recruitment 2023 Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
Preliminary Examination consisting of objective test will be conducted online. The test will have three sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows

LIC AAO Recruitment 2023 Phase-II : Main Examination
Main examination will consist of objective tests for 300 marks and descriptive test for 25 marks.
Both the objective and descriptive tests will be online. The objective test will have separate timing for every section. Candidates will have to answer descriptive test by typing on the computer.
Descriptive test will be administered immediately after the completion of the objective test.

LIC AAO Recruitment 2023 Phase-III: Interview
Marks obtained in the Main Examination only will be considered for short listing for interview.
Commensurate to the number of vacancies, LIC reserves the right to fix the minimum eligibility standards in order to restrict the candidates to be called for interview and also fix the minimum qualifying marks to qualify in the interview.
Maximum Interview marks are 60 and qualifying marks for EWS, Unreserved, OBC are 30.Qualifying marks for SC /ST/PwBD candidates are 27. Candidates who do not obtain the minimum qualifying marks as decided by LIC shall be excluded from further selection process.
The decision of LIC in this regard shall be final and binding on the candidates and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

How to apply Online for LIC AAO Recruitment 2023
Candidates can apply online from 15.01.2023 to 31.01.2023. No other mode for application will be accepted.
Before applying online, candidates should be ready with/ for the following-
i. Scan their photograph, signature, thumb impression and handwritten declaration ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the required specifications.
ii. Have a valid personal email ID and mobile no., which should be kept active till the completion of this Recruitment Process.
LIC may send call letters for the examination etc. through the registered e-mail ID. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID and mobile number before applying on-line and must maintain that email account and mobile number.
(iii) The left thumb impression should be properly scanned and not smudged. (If a candidate is not having left thumb, he/she may use his/ her right thumb for applying.)
(iv) The text for the hand written declaration is as follows –
“I, (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
(v) The above mentioned hand written declaration has to be in the candidate’s hand writing and in English only.
APPLICATION FEES/ INTIMATION CHARGES (NON REFUNDABLE) PAYMENT OF FEE ONLINE: 15.01.2023 to 31.01.2023
Application Registration:
- 1. Candidates satisfying the conditions of eligibility as on 01.01.2023 are required to go to the LIC’s website www.licindia.in and click on the ‘Careers’ to open the link “ Recruitment of AAO(Generalist) 2023. It redirects the candidates to the online registration page.
- 2. To register application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
- 3. In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he / she can save the data already entered by choosing “SAVE AND NEXT” tab. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Visually Impaired candidates should fill the application form carefully and verify/ get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct prior to final submission.
- 4. Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the COMPLETE REGISTRATION button.
- 5. The Name of the candidate or his /her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates/ Mark sheets. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
- 6. Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the ‘Validate your details’ and ‘Save & Next’ button.
- 7. Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications.
- 8. Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.
- 9. Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.
- 10. Modify details, if required, and click on ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.

LIC AAO Recruitment 2023 Bio-Metric Data Capturing Verification
Biometric Data – Capturing and Verification
- It has been decided to capture and verify the biometric data (right thumb impression/ IRIS scan or otherwise) and the photograph of the candidates during the process of recruitment on the following stages:
- At the start of the Main examination and at end of Main examination before leaving the hall /
- At the time of document verification before the interview, if shortlisted At the time of reporting for the training/
- Decision of the Biometric data verification authority with regard to its status (matched or mismatched) shall be final and binding upon the candidates. Candidates whose biometric does not match at any stage of selection process, will not be allowed in the next stage of recruitment.
- Refusal to participate in the process of biometric data capturing / verification on any of the above mentioned occasions may lead to cancellation of candidature.
- If fingers are coated (stamped ink/ mehandi/ coloured etc), ensure to thoroughly wash them so that coating is completely removed before the exam / interview / joining day.
- If fingers are dirty or dusty, ensure to wash them and dry them before the finger print (biometric) is
- Ensure fingers of both hands are If fingers are moist, wipe each finger to dry them.
- If the primary finger (right thumb) to be captured is injured / damaged, immediately notify the concerned authority in the test In such cases impression of other fingers, toes etc may be captured.
- Please note that apart from the occasions mentioned above, LIC reserves the right to capture/ verify biometric data of candidates at other stages as well.
IRIS Scan:
Photograph and IRIS will be captured at the examination venue. The photo captured will be matched with the photo uploaded by the candidate in the application.
You must NOT change your appearance from the photo uploaded by Decision of the IRIS data verification authority with regard to its status (matched or mismatched) shall be final and binding upon the candidates.
Refusal to participate in the process of IRIS scanning / verification on any occasion may lead to cancellation of candidature. With regards to the same, please note the following:
- ‘LEFT EYE (IRIS)’ will be captured for all the candidates at the start of the Main examination and at end of Main examination before leaving the hall / lab verification will be
- Candidates should remove Contact Lenses and Spectacles while capturing IRIS. Candidates are advised to avoid wearing contact lenses and prefer spectacles.
- There is no touch involved in IRIS Half feet distance between scanner and eye will be maintained.
- Identification methodology for Visually Impaired candidates would be Biometric Thumb Impression data capture as mentioned in the notification.
(Any failure to observe these points will result in non-admittance for the examination)
